Together we’ll write a poem on NURTURING, over a span of eleven hours.
Also, bring poems to read aloud: either poems you have written, or works by your favorite poets.
Program for Saturday, January 7:
7:00 am – 12:00 noon Share poems out loud that are healing, funny or serious
12:00 noon-1:00 pm Break, a chance for questions & answers of the moderator
1:00 pm – 3:30 pm Workshop on writing & performing (poems, spoken word)
3:30 pm – 4:00 pm Relaxation (cookies provided for free)
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm Performance of poems, including Spoken Word and Open
Mic (poems and songs: sign-up at 3:50pm)
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Mixer – for poets, musicians and their fans.
